Families can try their hand at creating sand sculptures on one of Thanet's award-winning bays, see the Kent seals or visit historic offshore forts on a sea safari, or even create art from beach litter at a special activity day.
You can learn more about coastal bird life, understand its geology and collect beach 'treasure' like shells and flints, or hear about fascinating history like the link with Indian princess Pocahontas.
Or if you want to do something practical, join a beach clean-up operation at one of many locations to assist the Marine Conservation Society.
KCC Cabinet Member for Environment Keith Ferrin said: 'Kent's coast has so much to offer, from Dover's mighty White Cliffs to the low lying marshes which are a wildlife haven. Everyone should take the opportunity to enjoy what they like best on the Kent coast.'

Saturday October 25

The 10-year-old has already shown sporting prowess in the pool, on the athletics track, and on the rugby league field.
Inline skating was the latest sport added to the equation when he scooped a remarkable medal haul at the Queensland Championships.
The MacGregor Primary School student claimed four golds on the track - 300m, 500m, 1000m, and 1500m - as well as two road medals on the Boondall circuit.
Mother Debbie McKenna said the swag of honours were now part of an already bulging trophy cabinet.
Chance previously swam at a regional level, competed overseas in track and field, and snared top honours at his rugby league club, Souths Sunnybank.
His recent skating performance also qualified him for the state team to compete in January's national titles.
'He's a pretty good little athlete, and he's never bored,' Ms McKenna said
