Re-think on St Gabriel's school plan

REDCAR and Cleveland Council is considering not going ahead with controversial plans to close St Gabriel's Roman Catholic Primary School.
Plans for the future of schools in Redcar and Cleveland will be under the spotlight at a meeting of the council's cabinet.
A report has revealed the outcome of informal consultation on the council's plans for Building School's for the Future. Among its recommendations is not to go ahead with plans to close St Gabriel's Primary School in Ormesby at the present time.
The cabinet is expected to give the go ahead to submit a business case to the Government, explaining why it wants to go ahead with Building Schools for the Future, when it meets next Tuesday
