HARARE (Reuters) - Southern African leaders meet in Harare on Monday to try to salvage a power-sharing deal between President Robert Mugabe and opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai and rescue Zimbabwe's economy from free-fall.

The chief negotiator for Mugabe's ZANU-PF party was quoted by state media as saying the summit would break a deadlock in negotiations over the control of key cabinet seats in a unity government to be set up under the September 15 deal.

'We are expecting that the SADC troika meeting will end the saga over the allocation of ministries to bring finality one way or another so that the country can move forward,' ZANU-PF chief negotiator Patrick Chinamasa told the Herald newspaper.

The Southern African Development Community (SADC) convened the summit amid fears the plan to establish a unity government was about to unravel after weeks of fruitless talks between ZANU-PF and two Movement for Democratic Change factions.

The power-sharing accord is seen as key to any effort to pull Zimbabwe out of a deep political and economic crisis. Inflation is running out of control and food and fuel shortages are widespread in the once prosperous nation

In between, they have from time to time flirted with religion as well.
Unfortunately Turkey is not a country of talented people who can produce different options for any issue. Though the existing methods do only bring frustration, they are not easily given up.

Chief of General Staff Gen. lker Babu and commanders will explain their views on terror before the Cabinet on Monday. Instead of a one-sided presentation, it's time to create a platform where politicians will also contribute through exchanging ideas.
One more thing: It's time to bring in the measures that have not been implemented so far...
Turkey should, by all means, find the way to cope with an organization that introduces itself as an ideological group but in fact is an ordinary organization presented with the cult of a single person.
