The Iraqi cabinet is examining a controversial draft law that would allow US forces to stay in Iraq for three more years. US military chief Michael Mullen warned Tuesday that Iraq could risk losses of significant consequence if the deal is not approved quickly. The US Ambassador to Iraq Ryan Crocker also defended the deal Monday saying it QUOTE fully restores Iraqs sovereignty

br/>The Russian ambassador in the United Statess rejected the request by John McCain for financing his campaign, report Russian media.
Nobody, not even Russian officials, not even the Russian ambassador to the UN, not even the Russian Cabinet must not finance political activities in foreign countries, it said in a letter that was sent by Vitalij Curkin, a Russian delegate to the UN, as an answer to the written request by John McCain in which he seeks financing for his presidential campaign.
McCains letter arrived on October 16, and was addressed to Curkin, with the stressed motto stop the Obama Democrats from seizing control of the entire federal government.
In the letter McCain asks for donations ranging from $35 to $5,000. The letter contained a questionnaire, with an included cheque, that needs to be filled out by the person responding, which needs to be returned by October 24. The potential president also thanked in advance for the donation.
